2008 has got off to a flying start – literally. James has had more hours in a helicopter this year than he’s had hot dinners. But the results have been nothing less than spectacular..... check out the highlights in James’ photo gallery.

The JMPC’s collaboration with Cunard in February achieved a stunning global reach, capturing the unique regal meeting of two stately ocean-going Queens, the Queen Victoria and the QE2, in Sydney Harbour. The images - shot by James & his team simultaneously from helicopter, boat & harbourside – were distributed around the world within minutes, and published in major newpapers & publications. Cunard’s marketing team could not have wished for better worldwide visual exposure.

James Morgan has this year started an exciting new relationship with the Sydney Opera House – or ‘The House’ as insiders refer to it. He has been working closely with the SOH Marketing team to introduce a new, fresh, modern look to their visual collateral, as well as covering major events for SOH. James achieved the near-impossible when he teased a ‘Mona Lisa’ smile out of that greatest of screen ice-queens, Catherine Deneuve, when she appeared at the Opera House to support her friend & compatriot, Sylvie Guillem, at a recent one-off dance performance.

Photographic work has also continued for long-standing clients Virgin Blue, with James working alongside Richard Branson during his week-long visit to Australia in March/April, culminating in the massive 2008 Virgin Blue Charity Hangar Ball and the launch of V Australia- the flights from Sydney to Los Angeles to commence later this year.

Critics have been raving about the Australian stage production of ‘Billy Elliott – The Musical’. James Morgan’s images of the show and it’s cast of young, extraordinarily talented stars have helped the PR team boost the show’s profile in the media, ensuring that the publicity momentum is continuing well beyond the opening night.

Asciano, Australia’s leading transport infrastructure company, combines the Pacific National rail operations with the Patrick ports and stevedoring businesses. Like many large companies, however, their corporate photographic images have been badly in need of an update. With this in mind, the marketing team turned to the James Morgan Photographic Consultancy to undertake a comprehensive project to shoot new visuals of all it’s operations across Australia. So far, James has shot ports & freight trains in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle and Port Augusta, creating a substantial & innovative digital image resource for the company.

Finally, James has added a new string to the JMPC bow – corporate office artworks– kicking off with 60 black & white images printed on canvas, mounted on walls over two floors of the new MLC offices of major corporate accountancy firm, Pitcher Partners. The JMPC was approached by Davenport Campbell, the interior design consultants, who were looking for high-end, black & white, art photography to decorate their new fit-out for Pitcher Partners. James worked creatively with both the designer and the client to deliver extraordinary, unique, black & white images of Sydney Harbour to complement the contemporary office design. The results, which you can check out on James’ gallery, were delivered on time and on budget.

Quotes from existing clients;

Sandy Olsen, Director Corporate Affairs, Carnival Australia said, "We work with James Morgan on major projects mainly because of his creativity and ability to deal with people. He most recently worked with Carnival Australia to capture the energy and excitement surrounding the arrival of Cunard's newest ocean liner into Australia, the Queen Victoria, as well as her royal rendezvous with her more senior sister,  the QE2, in Sydney Harbour. The wonderful images shot by James were picked up around the world and were an important part of us showcasing the ocean liners to our potential guests.
